For people who experience excessive behavioural difficulties
If client’s experience difficulty in maintaining socially acceptable standards of behaviour (for example needing to be reminded about actions or decisions which have the effect of limiting participation in the community or Home) as a consequence of their acquired brain injury, or by way of an associated mental health condition or learning disability, they will be assisted to displace such behaviours following individually tailored rehabilitation programmes and where assessed as necessary, medical intervention.
Health and Social Care professionals will assess their difficulties and discuss them with them during their thirteen week assessment period.
